Newton

Since 2003, FIRST Scandinavia has collaborated with Norwegian school experts to develop the Newton concept, aiming to provide children and youth with positive experiences in science, mathematics, and technology. The first Newton room outside Norway opened in Denmark in 2015.
Newton rooms offer hands-on education in these subjects to schools and preschools. Locally owned and operated by municipalities and county municipalities in Norway, a Newton room can be situated on or near a school or in connection with a business entity/business park. Newton instruction is integrated into regular school operations.

FIRST® LEGO® League

In 2000, FIRST Scandinavia organized the first FIRST LEGO League tournament in Scandinavia. Since then, we have hosted almost 700 FLL tournaments and nearly 20 Scandinavian finals, with a total participation of several hundred thousand children and youth. FIRST Scandinavia has also organized several Open European Championships where teams from around the world have participated.

FIRST Scandinavia Partner AS is an authorized distributor of educational solutions from LEGO® Education. LEGO® Education provides comprehensive teaching solutions that include lesson plans, activity tips, and teacher support. Everything is designed to facilitate teaching in accordance with the Norwegian curriculum.
We offer educational solutions from 1st grade to high school and we conduct programming courses for teachers.
